Josh Boyle -Founder
Boston · Working with companies globally
Josh has built his career around emerging technologies, often at the point where the technology is ahead of the market, and the commercial path still needs to be created.
He began his career in finance after studying at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School in Boston, becoming a licensed investment advisor and working with high-net-worth technology executives and institutional investors. He later moved into technology research and advisory services at Yankee Group and IDC, working with technology companies and enterprise leaders as they navigated emerging markets and new opportunities.
At IDC, Josh led sales of advisory and market intelligence solutions and helped launch the firm’s first technology end-user advisory practice focused on the financial industry.
He later co-founded DataMarket, an early SaaS data visualization and marketplace company, where he built the U.S. commercial organization and helped move the business from an emerging concept to enterprise adoption and, ultimately, acquisition by Qlik. Following the acquisition, Josh led the commercialization of Qlik DataMarket, including packaging, go-to-market strategy, and strategic partnerships.
Josh went on to co-found Elipsa, an AI-based data normalization and monitoring platform for IoT and building operations, where he served as Chief Business Officer and led commercialization, partnerships, and business development.
Across those experiences, the recurring challenge has been the same: turning promising technology into something the market understands, values, and buys.
Levrist was built around that experience.
